Description:
CureIS Healthcare, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to lead a software conversion project to implement GE Centricity Business Solutions Billing and Accounts Receivable and Managed Care Application.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to serve as a leader in major health care platform conversions. This person will be taking the primary role in customer satisfaction, project definition and delivery of the conversion effort.
We are seeking a candidate with 4+ years progressively responsible experience in IT healthcare practice operations, with emphasis in managed care operations from either a payer or medical practice perspective. At this time the position requires 100% travel.
Preference is to hire this person full time but candidates interested in contract to hire are also welcomed. CureIS is moving very quickly. Projects this person will work on are all-new developments with a start-up atmosphere.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for overall project success
- Project Communication across all project stakeholders
- Developing detailed project plans/estimating task durations
- Staffing and managing project team members
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Working with appropriate management levels to communicate status and set expectations
- Identifying and resolving project issues, and controlling project scope and budget.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years IT/Healthcare experience
- 4+ years of Project Management experience in a healthcare or technology environment
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry with emphasis on GE Centricity Business Solutions required
- Must be able to read and understand technical documents such as requirements, design documents, specifications, data conversion plans, data files and file formats
- Working knowledge and experience with project management concepts, tools, and techniques
- Experience working within the parameters of a project methodology
- Ability to facilitate communications between stakeholders from all levels of the organization and to objectively identify and resolve conflicts
- Capable of multi-tasking between concurrent projects
- Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Working knowledge of / experience in contracts, reimbursement methodologies, claim processing
- Ability to work as a team member as well as project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and analytical skills, demonstrated skills in problem solving
- Ability and willingness to take on various assignments in a fast paced organization
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required
